Babydoll Archi’s bold deal with Kendra Lust may make her India’s first influencer in global adult entertainment

The viral story about Babydoll Archi (real name Archita Phukan), an Assamese social media influencer, potentially signing a “bold deal” with American adult film star Kendra Lust originated in early July 2025. It stemmed from a photo posted on Archi’s Instagram account showing her alongside Lust, which sparked widespread speculation about a collaboration in the adult entertainment industry, including rumors of a multi-crore contract and her possible debut in adult films. Reports suggested this could position her as India’s first influencer to enter the global adult space, especially after Archi shared cryptic posts hinting at joining the “Lust Army” and not reading the terms before signing up.

However, by mid-to-late July 2025, investigations revealed the entire narrative was built on deception. The photo with Kendra Lust was AI-generated, and the “Babydoll Archi” online persona had been hijacked by her ex-lover as an act of revenge porn. He used deepfake technology to morph her real images into explicit content, upload it to adult platforms, and monetize it, leading to a surge in her follower count from viral misinformation. Archi herself denied any involvement in adult entertainment, clarifying that she had escaped a traumatic past involving six years in prostitution (including time at Delhi’s GB Road red-light district, from which she paid Rs 25 lakh to gain freedom), and the rumors were fabricated to exploit her image. Indian authorities, including Assam police, launched probes into the deepfake scandal, highlighting growing concerns over AI misuse in revenge porn.
